Ibis hotel we stayed for two days is in the center of Christchurch and in the center of the Central City Red Zone that suffered heavy damage in the earthquake.

The one which can be recognized over there is the mountain we went up on the gondola.  The picture was taken from the inside of the shuttle bus.
